August Break: Art

Art... I've been playing with some monoprinting lately--using acrylic paints on my Gelli
Plate...

...and in recent months I've been dabbling in Bible Art Journalling--creating directly onto the pages of a Bible. Time to pray, reflect and create--I'm loving this!!

I'm participating in Susannah Conway's month-long community photo project August Break...

  2. Thanks, Tammy! I can HIGHLY recommend the Gelli Plate for paint & printing fun! I dilute my regular acrylic paints and they are great to use this way. It can be messy, but it's a lot of fun. I really enjoy how each print-pull is unique. Let me know if you get a Plate and how you like it, or if I can help in any way! :o) OXOX

  4. Love the plate and the bible journaling. I got a Bible for Christmas to journal in, but have not yet done it. I am afraid that I will spoil it. Sigh . . . timid, I am so timid when it comes to that type of thing. Love you! xoxo

  5. Love the swatches of color and mark-making that you've added to the journal page. You can feel the energy flowing from your spirit onto the page and back to you. Beautifully done!
