What one small thing can we do with GREAT LOVE today?!

  1. Hi Tracy, love the picture with the little heart, love the quote! My grandfather used to tell me ‘all the things you do, do them with joy and love’. Have a wonderful day my friend, love Jitka

    1. That is a beautiful motto your grandfather had... a good one to remember every day!

  2. My kindness today will be checking that the bird water is defrosted, and they have plenty of food. Birdsong makes the garden so alive with joy.

  3. yesterday I was in a grocery store and the cashier was obviously tired or perhaps she wasn't feeling well. and I remember having to work at that age and just wishing I could be home! I started feeling burnt out at about 58 years old.
suddenly I told her that she looked just like Mary Englebreit! (did I spell that right?)
and she really did! so it was a sincere compliment. her whole countenance changed.
she had the most beautiful smile. and it took so little just reaching out in sincerity.
it turns out Mary was a favorite of hers!
and I love anyone who makes the life of the little birds easier. I feed those in the parking lots. I hope they find water somewhere. they are little miracles of survival.

  4. The thing I can do with love today is simply be there. Rick's longtime friend (and at one time after his divorce and before me, a serious relationship that contemplated marriage) died suddenly and he just found out. It's shattering to have a friend die unexpectedly, I know from experience, and so much of his life was connected. I just need to be there, to listen, not to talk -- just to be. That healing will take a long while.

  6. What a beautiful colour, can't wait to see the finish. I try to always remember that everyone has a story, and until you know it, you cannot possibly understand the whys and wherefores. So just be kind. Kindness matters, in all things. xoxo

  7. Dear one; what a wonderful thought. We can do one thing with great love. I try to pray and ask to know whom I might touch in someway today.
