Off the Hook... and pet approved!!

Weeehooo... Can you tell I'm HAPPY to finally be done this BIG project??! And that Luna is too?! Luna gave my Ocean Ripple Blanket at least a two paws rating... haha! ;) You know it's good when it is pet approved! This crochet blanket has been on my hook for a looong time. It received intermittent love and attention between other, and sometimes more exciting, projects. I love me a ripple blanket though, and loved working on this. It "accidentally matches" the Woodland Walk quilt I made a few years ago for TJ. Didn't plan that! All this will look beautiful on our bed for autumn/winter. An extra snuggler for cold days ahead...

I have another big finish to share later this week! This summer I've been really trying to get things done, finish up languishing projects, learn new techniques, and, of course... dream of new projects! Creative mojo is pretty high these days, and I'm feeling pretty good, and so riding this wave and fitting in projects in between all the every day things. And so... I'm sometimes slow getting here, and a little slow getting around to visiting everyone, etc... but I'll be around, though!

Also, I'd like to say a BIG, HUGE THANK YOU for all the wonderful comments and feedback for my new audio podcast, Simple Gifts--sooo delighted you enjoyed the first episode! I hope to offer another podcast soon. :)))

    1. Thanks, Tammy! Luna's so used to having her photo taken, it's just a daily thing! She doesn't yet perform on demand, though... haha! So this is all Luna being her sweet little self! :)

  4. I do hope you do another podcast. I loved your sweet peaceful voice as you talked.
This Ocean Ripple Blanket is beautiful. I love the colors. I think your little Luna was a perfect touch to your photos. I can see Luna's little personality showing up in these. It is so fun to follow our projects and I look forward to what your creative mojo will come up with.
Love you girl and wishing you a sweet week ahead with lots of time to do our creative things.
Sending loving hugs to you my sister in Christ!

    1. Many thanks, LeAnn! You leave the sweetest comments! :) I hardly had the blanket done, and down on the floor to get some photos, when Luna (who had been off napping somewhere) appeared and made the blanket even better! This week I'm getting ready to do some sewing--clothing this time. And I have a new pair of socks on the knitting needles...

  5. Oh the throw is just lovely! I also love that it matches the quilt. They are your colors. Yes, we must hang in there even on the big projects and finish them up. Good job!
