Thankful... day 28

I am so THANKFUL for our local library, and for libraries in general! I've loved going to the library since I was a young girl, and books have been my life-long friends

We enjoy talking a walk to our library, which isn't so far from where we live, and it makes a lovely thing to do of an evening... even in the evenings now, when twilight happens earlier. (It's very safe and well lit around here.) There is also a small cafe that's part of the library-- a new thing from this year, and very popular. Something we especially like doing, is just going to the library to sit a while and browse the many newspapers and magazines there.

What are you thankful for?!

  1. That's a nicely designed library and I love the idea of having a cafe in the library-- that's a great idea!

  2. so nice! You are really blessed to live in a safe area! I can't say the same about where I live but at least we have a nice home to stay in! :) Cafes can be so fun!

  3. What a gorgeous library. I would love being able to walk to the library. I remember when I was in junior high I could ride my bicycle to the library and browse. Oh I loved that so much. I am so thankful just for books wherever you find them. Sorry I haven't been visiting. Life seems to get in the way.

  4. One thing that I am very thankful for is books. I love to read. I like to reading many different kinds of book. I like Scriptures, religious writings, history, autobiographies, Photo books, the monthly Ensign that our church publishes, novesls; fiction and non-fiction.
I do love our libraries here. Although, I probably buy more books than I check out from the libraries.
I loved this thankful post as a reminder of how grateful I am to be able to read.
Sending happy thoughts, love and hugs your way!

  5. What a beautiful Library Tracy! We have a brand new library here in Chester called The StoryHouse and it has a cafe/coffee shop in it, and a computer section, a small theatre for live performances, and a cinema, also a children's section which is really nice. Altogether it is a beautiful building. I love libraries and have done since I was old enough to take myself there as a child! Love and hugs to you! xoxo
